Seller Highlight: Grace / LoandCicero

As part of our run-up to the Etsy Christmas pop-up shop at the end of this month, we’d like to introduce some of our sellers to you. We asked them a few questions about their shop, how they became an Etsy seller and their golden tips for online success!

This episode: Grace from LoandCicero!

Grace sells beautiful handmade fine jewellery, all designed and crafted by herself. She makes her unique and cruelty free pieces by using fair-trade and recycled Sterling Silver, Fine Silver pendants, Rough Diamonds, Semi Precious Stones and Sterling Silver findings.

How did you choose your shop name?

It is named after my Pug and French Bulldog 🙂

How did you decide to be an Etsy Seller?

I needed a great selling platform that was easy for both the seller (me!) and the customer. Etsy allows you to create a brilliant little self contained shop that can be easily managed and allows the customers to easily navigate a purchase and then leave (the all important) feedback!

What do you love most about your products?

I’m fascinated by natural stones and rocks so I love working with semiprecious beads and rough diamonds. I think my favourite thing about my jewellery is that it can be worn for all occasions, I wear my bracelets all day long, casual enough for during the day, but classy enough to complement a beautiful evening outfit.

What have been your biggest challenges in running an Etsy Shop?

Trying to increase traffic and sales without spending a lot of money on promoted listings which don’t always result in a sale. And getting customers to return (after the allocated waiting period) and leave feedback!

What are your best tips for running an Etsy shop?

Have another way of promoting your shop, preferably on a social media platform like Facebook, where you can regularly post shop updates and offers etc and direct traffic to your Etsy shop.
